1. This Form 3 is being filed in connection with the issuance of 36,057,591 Class A Shares of New Fortress Energy LLC to NFE SMRS Holdings LLC, the Designated Reporting Person in this joint Form 3. Great Mountain Partners LLC is the manager of NFE SMRS Holdings LLC. Jonathan Rotolo and Alexander Thomson are the managers of Great Mountain Partners LLC and, in that capacity, have voting and dispositive power over the Class A Shares held by NFE SMRS Holdings LLC and therefore may be deemed to beneficially own such shares. Each of Great Mountain Partners LLC, Mr. Rotolo and Mr. Thomson disclaims beneficial ownership of the shares, except to the extent of their pecuniary interest therein.
